Did you know how powerful the main image of your listing is for boosting sales?

What type of a game changer the main image can be for your Amazon brand if you slightly tweak a few aspects?

Also, do you realize that the CTR (click-through-rate) of your product listing is mainly influenced by how appealing, and compelling the first image is of your product?

Aside from a few other factors such as your price, star rating, title.

But mark my word - these factors do not really play a role in your CTR to such a large extent as your main image.

As mentioned above, we need to focus make a visually appealing and aesthetic image that showcases our product in the best way possible across a specific niche.

And showcasing it in a unique manner that sets you apart from hundreds of other competing sellers.

The customer is looking at your main image to decide if it's worth clicking into the listing to learn more about your product.

If your main image is mediocre, not enticing and fails to draw the attention of a customer - you will miss out on a lot of valuable traffic that might lead to additional sales for your Amazon business.

We have a great story to share of how 1 brand was using a low resolution low image, costing them a lot of precious sales and useful traffic.

At one point, when we came in to manage PPC advertising for our client, we noticed one thing right away stat stood out to us.

One of our client's products had the first image with a poor resolution of 466x466px which was horrible from the CVR (conversion rate) & CTR (click-through-rate) standpoint.

Understanding the power of having an absolutely striking first image for the product, we immediately rushed to action to come up with a better image, optimized to for driving traffic.

We urged our client to tackle this issue right away by improving on the first image and making it at least 1500x1500px resolution.

We knew that the higher the resolution - the more you can zoom in on a specific feature, attribute, or characteristic of your product which enhances customer's shopping experience.

We knew how essential it is to enable the customer to closely analyze the product prior to making a purchase.

So we decided to double down on the first image by increasing the resolution. This has helped us achieve a higher CTR and bump up our conversion rate at the same time which directly translated into higher sales, increased traffic and a better brand equity.

Keep in mind that low resolution images make it impossible for the customer to zoom in on the image to closely look over the features of the product or the packaging.

Furthermore, this takes away from an ideal customer experience and results in a ton of lost sales. Because let's admit - no one wants to face the same situation.

Our goal is to prevent these minor issues that might be hurting sales for your business.

Enhancing the resolution of the image does not take a lot of extra time or effort from a brand's side.

But the impact that it has on your brand positioning and sales performance is remarkable. In the end, if you play around your main image for a few hours, it will be definitely well time spent!

Make sure to heavily invest in the quality of the main imagy by running constant and frequent A/B split test experiments.

You can utilize the Amazon's built in "Manage Your Experiments" tool to compare different versions of the image. Based on results, you can then focus on a better performing that delivers a higher CTR.

Having a high-resolution image is not an optional step, it's absolutely necessary if you want to flourish on Amazon.
